I hate life as it is. Endless repetitive tasks, meaningless labor. And yet we have to put our soul in what we do.
College has challanged me more than high school would even think to.
its an experience that makes me chose between being a man, or a scared little teenager.
some people work while going to college. those people are amazing. i wish i was like them but im not. i would fail.
Ive said before that multitasking is not something i have the ability to do.
Ive been having to learn recently.
High school pampers you, cradles you in its arms and gives you a lollipop if you cry.
College ignores you, leaves you on your own. you have to care for yourself. You have to make college hear you.
if i acted in high school the way i act now, i could have worn that white robe at graduation...
My art class is actually my least favorite subject, torturing me with a style i dont like very much.
im talking about contour line. looking at a subject and not what youre drawing is the dumbest idea but i get why its so vital. it teaches artists to pay more attention to detail, see every inch and take down every imperfection.
i have grown as an artist but i hate the class. i hpe 3-D design is much better, ive always liked doing things with my hands.
thats actually my plan for after i retire. i plan to take sculpting classes or pottery.
maybe thats my true calling but jobs for that are pretty hard to come by.
Life, i hate it so much.
My friends. they are stressful. one time in my life, i found myself without any friends. that feelings was too horrible. but now i am surrounded by them and i make more ever week. i find myself struggling, like a fish out of water.
friends need attention and i find it hard to do that with all of them. my only hope is that they have patience. i am not the most calm guy. im energetic, loud, obnoxious but also caring and loyal. i dont try to push anyone away. i only try to balance a hectic life.
so im sorry if it feels that way.
because i love you all.

My Untasking Mind
i really have noticed that i am not a multi-tasker. not with school work or homework, not even LIFE!
i find myself paying attention to other interests and hobbies and not concentrating on drawing which i love but i always put it off.
also when it comes to friends, i talk to other friends more often than others.
i blame myself for that sure but friendship isnt a one way street.
and friendship depends largely on communication.
what do you call friends who never speak just because they arent always hanging out?
but i do apologize to everyone and myself, i need to learn to do at least two things at once.
also, happy valentines day.

Yo ho, Yo ho, the artist life for me...
really cheesy titles, gotta love 'em.
so i have a team going on for Simply Sugarfree which for some reason keeps registering as Sugarfree in my head. see, i dont like that cause it seems to me that its making it seem like Sugarfree will be forever represented in chibi form.
chibi: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chibi_(term)
i dont want chibi form, i have action in between the comedy that is my comic.
ANYWAYS, the team consists of 4 people. there is me, the artist. a graphic designer who does the coloring (maybe the inking too, it depends how the latest page turns out.) a programmer for a website we are planning (i kinda hate spending money but, w/e) and a manager who brings us all together.
i like the team but its kinda scary knowing that these people are present. it has always been me and maybe my best friends who read the comic. now its becoming, i dont know, REAL.
scary...
but i do want it to take off. And to chase a dream you need courage and perserverance.
im praying i get at least one of the two.
